We are launching and expanding our Dominican Republic sales hub to support WEL’s
growth across North America, with a heavy focus on Mexico cross-border lanes. As a
Logistics Account Manager, you will be trained from the ground up to build your own book
of business and manage freight nationwide.
This is a career-track sales role for someone who wants to master logistics, develop real
accounts, and earn uncapped commissions.
During your introduction week, training, and early business development phase, WEL
provides a training salary of $7,800 – $13,000 USD/year until uncapped earnings are
achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Introduction to WEL Companies (Week 1)
• Company policies and industry standards
• Equipment types and terminology
• Systems and tools used daily
• Load coverage, dispatching, and tracking
• After-hours protocols
• Sales vocabulary and negotiation basics
• Cross-border fundamentals for Mexico-US freight
Training Period (26–32 Weeks)
• Conduct check calls and track shipments
• Negotiate individual loads and lane pricing
• Update tracking systems and schedule appointments
• Monitor trucks and ensure on-time delivery
• Learn customer management and margin strategy
• Work a half day every other Saturday (8 AM–12 PM)
Building Your Book of Business (15–35 Weeks)
• 1:1 training with General Managers
• Prospect and land accounts in USA, Canada, and Mexico
• Cold calling, emailing, and building pipeline daily
• Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator and WEL systems
• Convert prospects into active customers
• Transition to every third Saturday
• Declare commissions after reaching profit targets
• Promote to Senior Logistics Account Manager
• Work one Saturday per quarter once senior
