Construction

Manager

Position Typical Responsibilities

• Oversees a portfolio of projects that may be managed by other Project

Managers

• Leads the execution of major projects with a high level of complexity

• Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, OSHA 30

hours, GMP, PR Construction Codes, Pharmaceutical Experience

• Professional Engineer Certified, Engineer in Training, PMP

• Interact with all levels of site and all departments involved in project

requirements, including but not limited to procurement, engineering,

quality, safety and technical services.

• Create scope of work with clients, define budgetary price and plan project

funding, project scheduling, feasibility evaluations, manage change

control, oversee purchasing.

• Cost estimating, read drawings, design review, scheduling, project

planning.

Scheduler

Position Typical Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on scheduling processes and

procedures for Capital Delivery.

• Work closely with the Project Reporting & Governance team within PC&E

to develop KPIs, reports, and procedures that support the Capital Delivery

process.

• Ensure schedule and cost support is given to challenge contractors

change orders. Interface with Contracts and Procurement as needed.

• Ensure project schedules are effectively managed and reflect the scope to

be completed.

• Ensure support is provided to the project managers to help in

understanding their cost and schedule interactions.

• Ensure the interactions between different projects in a portfolio are

understood and robust analysis on individual projects and the portfolio

(Critical path, total float, etc.) has taken place where necessary

• Support the project managers in the Change Control process for baseline

changes.

• Work collaboratively with the wider business to achieve the overall

business goals of achieving efficiencies in the delivery.

• Work closely with the PM group in identifying and quantifying project and

portfolio risks and trends for Capital Delivery.

Project Engineer

Position Typical Responsibilities


• Communicates clearly and directly with Design Manager concerning

performance expectations, productivity, and accountability. To provide

guidance on objective setting, priority setting, project policies and

procedures, project master planning, key staffing, monitoring project

execution and conflict resolution.

• Shall review and approve all engineering documents assigned by the

Design Manager. All these reviews shall be aligned with Corporate BMS

engineering Design Standards

• Managing the flow of information throughout the project team to ensure

that they are accurately informed as to the status of the project, in order to

achieve performance targets.

• Lead project progress and review meetings with Design Manager.

• The Project Engineer shall be responsible for coordinating discussions

between site and design team with respect to construction and installation

issues.


• Shall perform engineering reviews, constructability reviews, pre-

construction field / site survey(s) and provide written documentation


describing observations, recommended revisions, corrections and queries

for review with the Design Manager and Construction Manager.

• Responsible for meeting attendance and distribution of project status

updates to the BMS project manager.

• Will provide updates for a project master critical path schedule for the

current design documents. Project Manager and Project Controls Manager

will maintain the master schedule.

• Provide input for a comprehensive bid, purchasing and construction

schedule, identifying critical paths.

Project Coordinator

Position Typical Responsibilities

• Act as the client representative, support project activities.

• Adherence to all safety, health and environmental rules and regulations

and enforcement by all employees and contractors.

• Assure the flow of information between all project team members to help

ensure that all performance targets are met.

• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

• Ensure document management and control system is established for all

project documents.

• Schedule and attend meetings, issuing agendas, meeting requests, and

reserving resources.

• Enforce and assist in the project closeout by managing punch list and

closeout logs, compiling turnover package, contract closeout and transfer

of care and custody.

• Assist in compiling monthly project reports for PM; compiling project

metrics.

EHS Manager

Position Typical Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment for workers and site employees.

• Ensure OSHA compliance.

• Take immediate corrective actions to address unsafe acts, work, and/ or

conditions.

• Work with project team, site management and local site EHS staff to

ensure site and project specific safety plan are being followed.

• Ensure all proper work, LOTO and other permits are being utilized.

• Work with construction management teams to prequalify subcontractors.

• Collect and maintain project specific safety performance metrics (leading

and lagging).

• Maintain records of safety inductions/ orientations.

• Lead risk assessments for high risk work (work from heights, excavation,

etc.)

• Perform/ maintain record and project report safety audits.

• Daily/Weekly site walks.

• Report monthly project metrics.

• Attend/ lead toolbox talks.

• Review and approve job safety analysis (JSA)/ job hazard analysis (JHA).

• Lead team post project subcontractor reviews (each phase).

• Lead management post project subcontractor reviews (each phase).

• Lead “Voice of the Contractor” sessions.

• Be an active member of the project safety committee.

EHS Coordinator

Position Typical Responsibilities

• Adherence to all safety, health and environmental rules and regulations

and enforcement by all employees and contractors.

• Assure timely starting of contractor’s activities on a daily basis.

• Provide Daily Work Permits and other safety related permits, as

applicable.

• Lead safety orientations and or trainings to other contractors

• Assure contractors comply with OSHA and all BMS EH&S safety

requirements

• Support the development (when required) and assure compliance of

project’s Risk Assessments, Project Execution Plan, Rigging Plan, Job

Hazard Analyses, etc.

• Report and investigate on a timely manner, any safety incident as per

BMS procedures.

• Participate on project meetings as required.

Document Controller

Position Typical Responsibilities

• Works on a fast paced team to maintain technical design documentation,

which includes organizing, submitting, tracking, logging and

maintaining all design engineering submittals, using document control

software or other method as instructed.

• Tracking and posting vendor submittals, shop drawings, design review

records, special studies, RFIs, etc.

• Ensures that proper project procedures are adhered to.

• Ensures that all required signatures are included on project

documentation.

• Provides input for the development of project procedures and use of

document control software.

• Produces project status reports, technical reports, worksheets, etc.

• Maintains archived engineering, and construction documents, including

design drawings, vendor submittals, shop drawings, design review

records, special studies, and other documents as required.

• Sets up and maintains files (both hardcopy and electronic files).
