Social Media Assistant

Position: Social Media Assistant

The ideal candidate should be open to learn from others, be self-driven, work well in a diverse team, stay up to date with emerging social media trends & functionalities, flexibility, meet deadlines and work to improve themselves constantly.

Responsibilities
• Drive the brand's social media marketing plan with the objective of driving referral audiences to the site
• Create strategies to maintain and increase our social communities' engagement
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of content posting across various media outlets
• Set-up & execute the social media calendar. Scale up content distribution across platforms, focusing on Facebook and Instagram, with a view to optimize audience engagement and therefore referrals
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards on social media and market trends

Qualifications
• Degree/Certificate in Social Media Management, Digital Marketing or related fields
• 1+ year of experience in Social Media Management
• Proficiency using Facebook Insights and other social media analytics
• Proficient in English (written and spoken) is required
• Strong communication skills, conceptual thinking & time management
• Portfolio of work would be a plus
• Must live in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
